I moved to Texas in 1978 after marrying my husband, Joe, who was in the Air Force at the time. We moved 6 times in the first 10 years we were married, but always stayed in Texas. 

 

After several years working for the state and in the corporate world, I became a stay-at-home mom for 2 years. In 1998, I was approached by a friend who asked if I’d be interested in working a few hours a week at Rhea’s Mill doing light office work. I took the job and have been here ever since, currently as the Office Manager.

 

Joe and I have two adult children – Colton and his wife, Sophie, and Kaylie and her husband, John, who recently blessed us with our first grandchild, Rex.
