I'm Ashten, and I feel blessed to be the Early Childhood Minister and Sprouts Preschool Director at Rhea's Mill! I'm a local gal, born and raised all around North Texas (from Princeton to Denton and most of the cities & towns in between), but we are blessed to now call Celina our home. I earned my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Hardin-Simmons University in 2010 and worked as a Kindergarten and Pre-K (3s & 4s) teacher in Lovejoy ISD before being called to Rhea's Mill in 2017.

  

My husband, Chance, and I have been married since 2011 and have 4 children: Addilyn, Camdyn, Holdyn & Haidyn. Our family made the move to Celina in 2019 where our children are plugged in to all the activities all the time: year round youth sports, cheer, scouts, and band. Some days we feel like we're mom and dad Uber, but the quality time with our kids and community make it all worthwhile.

 

When I'm not running my shuttle I enjoy reading, cooking (which is a convenient hobby with these growing children), and being out on the lake.
