Thirsty Series - That as a God-dependent family each of us would care for someone like we'd like to care for everyone (RMBC 2012 Church-wide goal). One of the things the fulfillment of this goal requires is a fervent love for others. And, fervent love for others is the overflow of a life deeply connected with God. Which raises the question, "How do I connect with God?" We've looked at worship, fellowship, and fasting. A fourth answer is GIVING. My heart always follows my money.

Thirsty Series - You can't do it alone! This is true if you're trying to play in the NFL; This is true if you're trying to connect deeply with God. If you doubt it just take a look at all the "one another" commandments that dot the pages of the New Testament! But, how do we help each other walk closely with the Lord? A story from the life of David is helpful here.

01/29/12 - Psalm 63 - Connecting With God Through Worship
Thirsty Series - Everyone is thirsty! And, though we try and satisfy our thirst with a variety of things, there really is only One who can quench our thirst. That One is God. But, how do we drink deep from Him so that our thirsty soul is satisfied? In Psalm 63, David says that one of the ways we connect with God, one of the ways we drink deep from Him is through worship ... through learning to worship God in three different environments.
