Outreach Ministry

Our outreach ministry takes many forms.  Here you will find some of the ways that we reach out to our members, our community, and our world.

Embrace is the Church reclaiming the care of orphans and waiting children.
  • inform- educate and raise awareness about the needs of waiting children, dispel misinformation about foster care and adoption, and provide objective resources and training
  • empower - equip churches to launch orphan care ministries and exhort members of the community to give of their time, talents and resources
  • unite - provide families with opportunities for fellowship and growth and build a spirit of teamwork between CPS, child placing agencies and church ministries for the best interest of children

The Collin County Committee On Aging was organized and incorporated as a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation in December 1976, by a group interested in the elderly of Collin County. The corporation was formed for the purpose of seeking funding to promote better nutrition and additional support services for adults over the age of sixty.

At NEXT, we're about much more than just mission trips for high-school and college students. We truly believe that God has called every Christian to to live a life focused on making an outward impact... to Live the Mission.

The Samaritan Inn was established in 1984 after community leaders joined together to address the issue of homelessness in Collin County. More than twenty-five years later, The Samaritan Inn is still the largest homeless program in a county of over 762,000 residents.

The Ark Project is a partnership of individuals and churches who have joined Paul Liu in the task of  reaching the people of China.  China is a teeming nation of 1.3 billion people.  It is the largest nation on the face of the earth.  Yet only 10% of China claims to be Christian, making it (number-wise) one of the largest least evangelized populations in the world.  It has a huge need for trained pastoral leadership.  There is only one ordained pastor for every 7,000 believers.

At 3E we envision the mobilization of the Body of Christ to bring care, hope and transformation to McKinney through the collaborative effort of many churches, faith-based entities, social agencies, businesses and individual volunteers coming together to fulfill the Great Commission.

Our mission is to Engage volunteers in short and long term community involvement, Equip volunteers to serve in love, grace, and compassion, and to Empower the under resourced to long-term self-sufficiency.

Campus Crusade for Christ International (CRU), is an interdenominational Christian ministry. Our heart is to see every student hear about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and begin the process of walking with Him for a lifetime.

"We are a God dependent family devoted to helping people take steps toward maturity in Christ."
