Bible Fellowship Groups (BFGs) for children take place from 9:30 to 10:45 AM each Sunday morning. Below is a list of the classes and a profile of each of our teachers:
Kindergarten and 1st Grade
Room: B204 (Upstairs)
Teacher: Kristy Elkins and Harris Williams
Kristy and her family became a part of Rhea's Mill about four years ago. She has a degree from the University of Cental Oklahoma and is the proud mom of 3 boys and 3 girls.
Harris is a graduate of Prosper High and lifelong member of Rhea's Mill. He is a rock star at leading coloring time each week.
Room: B201 (Upstairs)
Teacher: Christina Hankins and Carter Derebery
Christina has a degree in Education from the University of Arkansas. She has two preschool-aged daughters, and has been a part of Rhea's Mill for two years.
Carter is a sophomore at Prosper High School and is awesome. He does a great job leading our 2nd and 3rd graders.
Room: B102 (Downstairs)
Teacher: Andrea Gosa, Ashton Fowler, and Austin Derebery
Andrea has been a part of Rhea's Mill for four years. She is a former elementary school teacher and has three children. She currently teaches in Sprouts preschool at Rhea's Mill.
Ashton and Austin are two awesome high school students who like hanging out with 4th graders and make BFG a cool place to be!
RM56 (5th and 6th Grade)
Room: B203 (Upstairs)
Teacher: Julie Vest, Samantha Kennedy, Jake Gosa, Breanna Crittenden
Julie is a long-time member and teacher at Rhea's Mill. She is a retired teacher from the Prosper I.S.D., where she was a former "Teacher of the Year" at Folsom Elementary. She has 3 adult children and enjoys playing with her grandchildren.
Samantha is a Physics teacher at Plano West High School. She has served as our Early Childhood Coordinator and was the director of the daycare at FUMC of Celina. She has one daughter.
Jake is married to Andrea (who you read about above) and is our resident "dude" in RM 56. He is a Regional Vice President for West End Roofing and has three children.
Breanna is an awesome High School Junior who likes to hang out and mentor our 5th and 6th graders.
